Once we approve your profile, your Shots get extra reach in Discover that fades over your first three months.
How the extra reach works
How work gets seen
Designers new here get extra reach.
Once we approve your profile, every Shot you post gets a lift in Discover. The lift is strongest the day you're approved and fades steadily over three months, so sharing a project every few weeks tends to do more for you than posting everything at once.
Your extra reach after approval
About 67% of the extra reach is left after a month. It fades a little each day until it's gone after three months, so there's no sudden drop. From then on, your Shots rank like everyone else's. Every approved designer gets the same three months. Designers in this window carry a Boosted tag on their Shots, so you'll know who's new.
What else decides who gets seen
Fresh work first.
A new Shot gets its biggest lift in its first week.
Likes and comments, relative to views.
A Shot that a small crowd loves can rank next to one that a large crowd scrolled past.
Big followings count for less.
Designers with large audiences rank lower, so follower count doesn't decide who gets found.
