Who is responsible for your data

PixelPorts is the data controller for personal data collected through this platform. If you have any questions about how we handle your data, contact us at feedback@pixelports.com.

What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and username. If you sign up with Google, we also receive your profile picture. When you use the platform, we collect usage data such as page views and interactions to understand how PixelPorts is being used.

PixelPorts is for designers aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If we become aware this has happened, we will delete that data promptly.

Why we process your data

We use your information to:

• Operate and improve the PixelPorts platform (legitimate interest)
• Send you product updates, announcements, and early access invitations (consent / legitimate interest)
• Understand how designers use the platform via anonymous analytics (legitimate interest)
• Debug errors and maintain platform reliability (legitimate interest)

We will never sell your data or use it for anyone else's marketing.

Third-party services

To operate the platform, we use third-party service providers who process data on our behalf. They are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes. These providers are:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Google Analytics — usage analytics (EU users only, with consent)
• Mixpanel — product analytics (anonymous usage data)
• Sentry — error monitoring
• Resend — transactional email delivery

Some of these services are based outside the UK and EU. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions to protect your data.

How long we keep your data

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our systems within 30 days. Some data may be retained longer where required by law or for legitimate operational purposes such as security logs.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Object to certain types of processing
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. For any other requests, contact us at feedback@pixelports.com.

If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — in the Netherlands, that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (AP).

Cookies

We use first-party cookies to keep you signed in and to maintain your session.

We also use Google Analytics to understand how the platform is being used. If you are in the EU, we ask for your consent before enabling analytics cookies. You can accept or decline when prompted, and change your mind at any time by clearing your browser cookies. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no personal data is sent to Google.

We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Data breaches

In the event of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours of becoming aware, and will inform affected users without undue delay.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email.
